I have been lurking here for some time in anticipation of buying my dad's 96 ls400. I didn't realize that I registered here before, but I must have over 5 years ago. When I finally did buy it with 176k on the clock it still ran like the day he bought it at the dealership. He only had to pay $500 to replace a tie rod due to the bad roads here and nothing else except regular maintenance stuff. Today it has 201k and I received the first check engine light ever, code 0420 cat efficiency. I searched and found the answer I needed in approx 5 seconds. I would like to thank you because I have never had this kind of luck searching for answers on my mustang project.

Welcome to CL, good to know that a car with 176k on the clock still runs great, nothing new for a Lexus !!
