Default Ls400 1998 Check Vsc and Check Engine light on after timing belt job done

I took my Ls400 to the shop to get the timing belt replaced and when i got it back the Serpentine belt was squealing, mechanic told me it was due to them spilling some coolant on it but itll wear off... i then pull off and about 20 miles later my check engine light comes on and check vsc message is displayed in the cluster, vsc off light is off aswell... my car was running great before the maintenance, its at about 120K, gonna bring it back in tomarrow however does anybody have any idea as to what could be the issue? Could it be because of the Serpentine belt slipping? Or incorrect timing belt installation? Thanks for your help!

Btw mechanic had let me know after inspection that the Serpentine belt that was already in looked brand new so they didnt have to replace it, only parts replaced were the Timing belt as well as the rest of the kit, the water pump, and a engine temp sensor for an unrelated issue

Likely low battery voltage, perhaps caused by slipping belt. Check alternator voltage output at idle; should be over 13.5 volts. Battery may be weak as well. Sounds like sloppy mechanic work; hope the other repairs were properly done.
