Talking My new Ls400

Hey Guys,
I'm new here and i just got my 1st soon to be VIP car today so i wanted to post up some pics, show you what i got, ask a few questions, and get some advice. first things first i know you guy are dying to see the car so. . .

its a 94 with 114k miles on it and stock air suspension all around. What really sold me on the car was the black interior i LOVE the black on back. it was owned by an older couple that trades it on something newer at a dealer ship down the road from me. i picked it up for about 4,000 witch i thought wasn't a bad price.

so there is its got a few kinks . . .

1st- the driver side seat refuses to lean back but only on the left side, the right side of the seat works fine but the left doesn't move at all, is this a common problem and what will it take to fix? Any one have any suggestions?

2nd- The speedo seems to only work some times it comes and goes

just make sure to not drive with it dumped on OEM air. the bags blow pretty quick.

Welcome,, looks like you picked up a really clean car there.

As far as the seatback leaning only on one side, this is a common problem. Basically there is a splined tube which connects the 2 sides of the seat motors together and normally one side of that splined tube wears out. You can use the serch feature on this forum to see further discussion on this issue.

In regards to the speedo issue, check the stickied section at the top of the forum concerning the dash.

Sweet! Love the black on black as well!

I just got mine this week, silver exterior, blue interior. Not very attractive.

Also sitting at the garage.

Yours is better.

I totally hear you. I don't feel right in the LS400 either. Definitely not my style of car but it's a car and I got it cheap.
