I have not tested the one roof, the car sits outside and just didn't want to chance a problem in the wet weather when I did the fix. When ever you use it I'd take a damp cloth and wipe the opening clean before closing it, lots of dirt and junk seems to collect there. Same goes for all the rubber seals, I hate leaks.
Glad mine sits in a garage and is not my daily driver. But I do use a good protection on the seals.

I'd rather use something like Mequires rubber protectant, or 303, or Ruglyde

The rubber seal should very slightly be above the roof line. The metal shims do that. The other shims or spacers are the wire ties that help expand the rubber seal closer to the opening in the roof (the sides, front and rear).

anyone have pics on exactly where to place the shims to raise the back part of the glass to level it out and hopefully seal the wind.

Remove the plastic side covers and you will easily see the shims that are between the moon roof frame and the frame that is part of the open close mechanism, just loosen the nuts to add more. To remove the plastic side covers I use a plastic pry tool (harbor freight) and you don't want to go too deep just pry on the very edge of the plastic cover about 2 inches from front and rear that is about where the clips are that push into the moon roof frame. If you go too deep in it hooks the metal frame and that will not remove the plastic.
And yes I pry against the glass and use other hand to pull down on it.
