Just picked up a 1991 LS400!
I figured I'd join the board and throw up a pic of my "New" 91 Ls400.
@ 280,000 miles, I was skeptical but after doing some research and driving it, I picked it up for the $1500 he was asking. It runs perfect and has complete service records up until 273,000 miles. I only needed to change the TPS which was easy thanks to LEXLS. so here she is now, but will not be the same for long... maybe until tomorrow, lol... http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f3...2def6f0cca.jpg |
Looks like it's in real good shape. I like that color. You don't see that very often

Great purchase Lexman,
still working on my '91 I purchased about month ago-no pics yet... changed to electric fan, custom air intake, blocked acv valve on power steering pump, transmission and oil cooler installed...you know, the basics... You didn't mention any problems, so you got a deal. Love the color! |
Welcome to Clublexus and congrats!

And so it begins. Welcome! |
Very nice!
LOTS of potential  haha |
Thanks guys... the only problem is The turn signals stopped working yesterday... checked all the bulbs, they were good, along with the fuse...wondering what else to check?
but on the positive side I found some rims, and threw on some new tails and clear turns up front (turn signals worked after installing them BTW) so here is a new pic, and any help or advice on the turn signal problem would be greatly appreciated. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/n...0/IMG_3400.jpg |
nice deal. what are your plans with it?
|
Congrats on your purchase.
You'll be hooked now. Are you going to change your name when you get the other Lexus'?:D |

now i'm working on the interior a bit and messing around with the silver neffy wrap, and lexus sport pedals... I want to paint her black and put a cat back exhaust on it, then wait for the motor to **** the bed (if it ever happens lol) and throw a new motor and tranny in with that TC i saw on lextreme, then i'm not sure after that. right now i just can't wait to hear what the motor sounds like without the factory exhaust on it :D |
nice. they do sound very nice with a good exhaust on them, like a civilized mustang.
