Default Update: Camshaft Position Sensor changed.

The Camshaft Position Sensors are now changed with working used sensors bought from Lextreme (thank you David!) for a really good price. Got 4 used ones (so I have 2 as spare parts) for less then 1 new sensor cost in Sweden. My problems seems to be gone now. But before I got the sensors changed I changed out my MAF with a used one from ebay because when I did the test as seen below I some times couldn't get a reading at all.

And after I changed out the AFM my problems with "jerks"/misfires never occurred again. So can't really tell if it was the AFM who caused them or if it was a combination between bad cam position sensors and a bad AFM. But my check engine light is not on now after the sensors was changed. Overall the cars seems to run a little bit better now.

If a camshaft position sensor or the crankshaft position sensor was bad, would either of them prevent the car from starting? If they do prevent the car from starting, how does it do so? Not provide spark or fuel? Thanks.

If one or both of the camshaft position sensors are bad the car will still start and run. What happens is that the car can't adjust the timing.

If the crankshaft position sensor is bad the car would not start.
