Replacing 93 LS400 Nakamichi with after market radio

Replacing 93 LS400 Nakamichi with after market radio
I'm having problem replacing factory radio with after market one. Was advice by Best Buy that the Amp needs to be bypass for it to work. Needs information on bypassing the Amp.
