Default 2 questions about a 99 LS4

First question: My timing belt change is coming up in less than 2K miles, I was wondering if I need to replace the water pump while I was at it?

Second question: what kind of fuse do I need for the cigarette lighter underneath the radio? I pulled it out to get another one and misplaced it. If I remember correctly, it had 15 on it?

Thanks

yes, you should replace the water pump as well as the belt tensioner with new OEM parts.

i can't recall off the top of my head what the rating is for that fuse, but it should tell you on the fuse box cover.

I second that, you pay more for labor than parts in a timing belt,wp change, its cheap insurance.

$800 for timing belt service (new OEM parts) is actually not bad at all. I paid just over $1,000 but it included rear diff flush, brake flush and tranny flush.
