Gas Pedal Mount - Floor or Hanging
When I first got my 94 LS I was kind of annoyed that it had a hanging gas pedal.
I had grown accustomed to the floor mounted ones from driving Toyota Crowns since I got my license at 17 when I lived in Trinidad. I found the hanging one to be more fatiguing on long drives.
At the bone yard today I noticed that they had two LS400's and they both had floor mounted gas pedals. Those were both Gen1 series 1 (a 90 and a 92 I believe).
Just wanting to get a headcount of what model year you guys have and what kind of pedal it came with. (If this is confusing I can take a few pics to clarify).
Also, I grabbed a floor mount pedal from one of the cars at the yard but I later noticed that my car doesn't have the two little ball studs on the floor that act as the pivot for the floor mounted pedal.
Has anyone ever converted from hanging to floor mount and come across having to add these studs?

i kinda wish my celsior had a hanging pedal cuz my floor mats are north american and arent suited for RHD. i have to put the floor mat partially over the pedal because its floor mounted.

The results are totally not what I expected. Maybe they decided to do hanging ones in Canada for fear that snow would get caught under the pedal or something?.. 
I picked up a floor mounted pedal from one of the cars at the scrap yard but like I mentioned, mine doesn't have the ball mounts on the floor. There isnt even a cut in the carpet for the floor hinges like the ones at the yard had.
The plot thickens...
This is what I have in mine. (Excuse the salt stains...haven't had time yet for my post winter carpet shampoo.)
And it isnt even one of the nice big pedals like the aftermarket stuff.
