How? Removal of center console 91 model

I removed the 4 phillips screw on the black plastic part of center console and the two in the box under amr rest - I still cannot lift it out. Do you need to remove the black felt covered insert under the arm rest to get to other fasteners, if yes how? Thanks

This cupholder replacement tutorial showns the location of the screws that need to be removed to get the center console insert out...

Gosh, it's been a lot of years since I removed the center console in the 90 LS I used to have. All I remember is that it seemed pretty obvious at the time.

I don't understand where you are in the removal process. Have you popped out the console wood? Have you already pried out the plastic console box insert? There's one or two screws under the removable pad at the bottom of the console box that have to be removed before the console box insert can be pried out.

Once you have removed the bolts and screws holding the console frame to the floor, if I remember correctly the console frame sorta plugs into the frame of the center stack -- I think you have to pull the console frame back.

I know there has to be some photos of this procedure somewhere on this forum. Have you done a search?
