Default Heated Seats don't work

I have a 96 LS and the heated seats don't work. Is there an easy fix for this? I think the previous owner tried to fix it at some point because the woodgrain finish is cracked like somebody tried to remove it. Could somebody direct me to the correct parts? Thanks!

there are no woodgrain anywhere near the heating elements..im guessing your talking about the center console where the buttons are located.

please check all fuses and search before posting a thread. it could be a possibility that since your car is 12 years old the heating elements in the seat itself are no longer working.
