New owner(94 LS ) Reporting in.
I just picked up a 94 LS with 131 miles on it and I couldn't be happier...
.
The guy I bought it from said a few things have been changed not including water pump and timing belt but the rest he had reciepts to show for it.
I took it to the dealers and they were able to confirm the timing belt was changed around 90miles ago.Without compromise as per you guys and the reading I've been doing,I'm gonna go ahead and change the water pump,timing belt,thermostat,do oil change and what else....guys ?
The gentleman I bought the car from had the tach rebuilt(had reciept) but lo and beholhd,the needle has just stop lighting up and cant read the miles at night...
.From my research here,it looks like thats a common problem with these cars.Everything else lights up.
The airbag light is on,so is the brake lamp(front pads are worn) and the trac OFF and check engine lights comes on and off once in a while.
I will appreciate any help,tips from you guys,Thanks.

Very nice looking ride.
When I need major servicing, I use Bullock City in Markham. Its run by a Lexus Tech,
but much cheaper labour rates.
They did my t-belt and wp, plus a few other parts, for around $600, using OEM parts.
You might want to look into a good set of snows ... even with 4 snow tires, I had some
pretty scary moments with all that snow we received last winter.
Good luck with your car.

Its a large, well equipped shop. Andy is a Japanese trained Lexus tech ... he worked at
Don Valley Lexus for many years.
Check out his website ... by the way, I was impressed that he actually test drove my car before and after my repair, double checking my fluids after the repair.

Keep in mind that Andy has more Lexus experience than most dealer techs.
That list of parts and labour would be higher at any Toronto dealer.
Once he's in there, you might as well replace all the smaller parts.
This service will give you years of worry free motoring, knowing it was done right
with OEM parts.

Thanks.What other parts will you guys recommend changing? I'm taking her in on friday and since I have the funds to at least get her done now,I might as well.
Once the money is gone,its back to the 'hard to work overtime hours'
