Yeah I remember those bolts and having a hard time but I believe an easier way is to loosen them while the belt is still on.

Generic SKF or other make bearings also work well. I used SKF.
This is pretty standard Ballbearings with double sided rubber lip seal typically generically named 2RS and a sligthly increased play which is typically generically named C3. The reason for the slightly larger play needed is that when assembled with press fit it will be correct beacuse the outer ring is slightly compressed. Hence 6301 2RS C3 or 6203 2RS C3 is the generic bearing names fot these NTN bearings.
IF you buy a bearing with standard play ( not marked C3 on a generic named bearing) it will typically at least often be too tight. I did that. Ran tight with resitance and did not feel good. Redone with a C3 Bearing it worked fine.

These bearing are standard mm size. You can pick them up from many vendors cheap. I paid 8$ However if you do see to that you get known brand, double sided rubber seals and C3 play at least. C3 or other similar designation means bigger then normal play in the bearing. This is needed since the bearing have a press fit outer ring and will loose play when mounted. I made that misstake and it was tight and rotated a bit heavy. Not a good idea. Did it again with a C3 type and could feel a small play which is fine. Risk for fast wear out when too tight. I used a bench wise and sockets to press in/ and out
Thanks for the help! The bearing you recommended should work. The original had a sleeve, but the 6301-2RS, McMaster-Carr 6661K122, has a thicker inner race to replace the added sleeve. https://www.mcmaster.com/bearings/ba...ball-bearings/

I will check when I take this thing apart tomorrow.

Thanks again! Great work.

I would imagine that Lexus would choose the ABEC 3 since it is rated at -30 to 230F, and 14K rpm.
