So i bought some tanabe springs for my 95 ls400 and am going to purchase shocks and sugestions as far as ride quality what shocks to get ? Also will i need to roll the fenders with a 1.8 drop in front and 1.5 in drop in rear i have streched tires on my back 20in rims am worried about the fender slamming into my rims should i put spacers on anyone had this issue ?

KYBs for soft ride (maybe too soft). Tokicos for stiffer ride. Bilsteins, not sure on how they ride...maybe someone has input on them?

We need to know the specs of your wheels (widths/offsets) if you want answers to your questions.

For the second gen, Bilstein is the way to go when lowering. Otherwise one of the many adjustable coil-over systems. I can't think of any 2-LS here on springs who are using other...?

IIRC Tokico doesnt make shocks for the 2LS.

Bilsteins are great, but they arent made for greater than a 1-1.2" drop, neither are the KYBs but they will work better with the softer Tanabe springs.

I suggest Bilstein even though you have tanabe's - Pure is right tho that they are not designed for a drop in excess of 1". I have about 2" drop with H&R's set at lowest perch and the fronts sometimes bottom out on the bump stop's even after I trimmed them dangerously thinner. All in all I have had them for a few years now and they are still good.

If cash is not an issue sell them and buy Megan coilovers. You will get the drop you want without bottoming out.

I have 35mm offset running 285's in the back and had to trim/roll the fenders.
