Default Custom Injen Inake Is Done! With Pics!

Ok guys got the car back from the body shop. And here are the pics of the Intake havent gotten around to Dyno yet but will be soon. I can Tell you i can feel a noticable improvement in low end takeoff. Let me know what you think!

looks like any other ram air intake but good job! that "heatshield" is really useless unless u isolate that area and block off 99% of the heat coming off the engine.

Yea problem is none seem to fit the 91 ls4 and yeaaa i know the heat but still works better as the piping in very non-restrictive and can take on more air than the stock intake.

if u reread it, he just says that its a intake and not a CAI.

i use the injen intake from the sc400 and put it in my 95 ls400
because this dumb website said it was made for my 95 ls400, when it wasnt errr haha. but its all good i put it on anyways, because im tired of buying them darn lexus air filters

meh, you're losing low-end torque since you deleted the helmholtz resonator.
(google it if you have questions)

Just an update for all, after going through my first tank o gas with this mod, i saw an improvement in MPGs of 3 and that was on a mix almost 50 50 city hwy. running Mid Grade Shell gas.

yeah, i saw some dyno online that you lose horsepower by deleting the baffle(resonator), like couple horsepower.

you lose a good amount of low end TORQUE by doing away with the Helmholtz.

I don't believe your MPG has increased since all it's doing is sucking in hot air. Do some more driving.. EXACTLY like you did before the intake.
