Default some newbie questions

so i've got a 99 ls4 and i was wondering
1) how diffrent is the suspension between the 2nd gen ls4 and 2.5gen ls4?
2) will the rear tail lights from a 2nd gen fit the 2.5?
3) anybody else with a 2.5 gen ls4 with some pics of rims/tire sizes, offsets and spacer descriptions on their ride?

so i can get a better idea of how what will fit.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

please search

1-it isnt, all major components will interchange except for air susp. struts, underlying chassis is identical.
2-no, they will not match up properly since the holes arent aligned right. the black lines will be off.
3-we already have a thread on wheel fitment, just do a search

welcome to CL

Do you mind I asked how much you paid for this car?

It has 103k miles, right? I saw the ad and the asking price was only $10,000.00 . That is a good deal! Timing belt changed? any air suspension?

I picked up my 98 LS in April with 78K miles and I paid $10,000.00. I realized I paid too much!!

Welcome to CL.

Thanks for your reply. Well, $12,500 for 1999 is a good deal !

BTW, has your timing belt been replaced? Spark plugs? I need my timing belt & spark plugs replacement soon.

I just bought a 1998 LS last week 80,600 Mi. for $11500. I think you got a pretty good deal if you have the timing belt service done. I would have preferred a '99 or '00 LS.

Mine doesn't have the timing belt or water pump service done. I bought it from the dealer (originally bought and maintained at the dealer) and it seems to be in pristine condition.

at another 30k miles you going to add another 2000 - 3000 bucks for your major maintenance that's coming up. unless you can do it yourself
