Hello all I am new to the forum and to Lexus vehicles as well. My girlfriend has a 93 LS400 V8 automatic. Well it won't start, I have tried a couple of things, I cycled the key a bunch of times the first time it did it to my knowledge and it finally started. It continued to work for the next few days, then as I was pulling in to my house it died on me and will not restart. I have tried cycling the key again but nothing. I tried to prime the system with fuel and starting fluid, again nothing. I ran a fuel pressure test and I have almost 50 psi, so I believe that would rule out the fuel pump.

What could it be, I searched through the first couple of pages of threads and I didn't see anything. Anyone have any ideas or had the same problem with their car? Thank you in advance for the replies.

I am in a bind here nobody has any thoughts on this? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Where all the Lexus Gurus when I need them? I have seen two other threads started with basically the same problems, this must be a common problem. Somebody has to have an idea as to what causes it.

If the car start with ur foot flat to the floor then its your idle control valve if not then id be thinking a fuel issue aswell.
