Is there anyone else out there with cloth interior

Just wondering if there is anyone else out there with cloth interior and if so what interior color and number is your car? Also note if you have heated seats, heated mirrors, etc.
I have a 1990 Lexus LS400 and I have one of the first 500 LS's ever made!

We have a handy search tool. The first gen LS has been out almost 20 years now, so most likely its already been discussed.

I know the whole "cloth interior thing" has been rehashed numerous times, but I can tell you that you have a very unusual car. I've never heard of a 90 LS400 having heated cloth seats and I've seen a lot more cars with cloth interiors than most people.

Usually cars with cloth seats had very few options and only cars with leather were ordered with heated seats. If your car has heated seats, then it must also have TRAC -- these two options could not be purchased separately.

If "power everything" means that your car also has memory seats and memory power telescoping steering wheel then you may have an extraordinarily rare car. Not that it is going to be worth more -- it's mainly a curiosity.

There are photos of the cloth interior of the 90 LS I had in my gallery: https://www.clublexus.com/gallery/sh...y.php?cat=3365

I sold my '90 a couple of years ago. It had the grey cloth interior, but I had to add heated seats. I also added the dimming mirror with temp and compass display. It had power tilt steering wheel, but not telescopic. I sold it to a couple in Vancouver, WA, when it had 144K miles on it. It was also an early build and the Portland Lexus dealer often referred to it as an '89. Was sold to the original owner in September of that year. Wonder if it is the same car.

An elderly friend of my father's bought one of the first LS's in the fall of '89 (Wash. DC area). It was gray-blue with a matching cloth interior and no sunroof. I don't remember what other options it had/didn't have, although I'm pretty sure it was "stripped" if that term can be applied to any LS. He was a real penny pincher, and only bought the car because he is very tall and this was the only car he could fit comfortably in (hence no sunroof). He was incensed at paying $35,000 for it! For years he promised me I'd have first crack at it when he was ready for something else or quit driving. He hardly drove it at all- had about 23k on it last I knew. I patiently waited. But then last year, when he finally decide to hang up his keys, he wound up giving it to a niece in northern New Jersey. So I had to get my own LS.
