Default New LS owner

Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new Lexus owner. I've been snooping around on the site for a while. I'd been looking for an LS400 for a while and finally got one I wanted. It's a 98, black with tan leather, 110k miles, full service history, nearly perfect condition. I got it for $8k.

Plans for the car are: hid kit for headlights and fogs, led lighting, tint, 19in dish rims, coilovers

I'm coming from the Honda side of the import market, so I'm open to any suggestions. My other car is a fully built 240whp NA Civic coupe.

Except for the earlier models, the 98's came with HID headlights.

Nice car, btw at a good price, assuming the timing belt and water pump service has been done.

Nice LS 400 and you got a smokin' deal.. I have the same one and paid much more. Bought mine last November. I have noticed prices have dropped a fair amount (at least here in AZ) over the past year.

Actually, he'll be spending a fortune, if he get the modding bug, heheh. But I know what you meant, he will find some really great deals. To the OP, congrats on a great buy, and an even better car!! She's looking good.
