Hi, I have a 1991 ls400 and for the past few weeks i noticed it loping in idle. I changed the idle speed motor and it stopped for a while then it started again a week ago. when im at a light i would lope and pressing the gas will do nothing, and sometimes it even cuts off, then after a few seconds of loping with my feet on the gas it will just take off the repeat loping again...can any one help me..

Dunno about your car, but my wifes '90 LS400 is doing something similar but it's related to the fuel pump control system. The pump is fine but something is causing it to run sporadically and just shut down at times. Decidedly uncool.

well I did a self diognostic and i got codes 12( rpm dignal 1), 13(rpm signal 2), 24 (IAT sensor) and 41 (throttle possition sensor). i know about the last two which im in the process of fixing but i cant seem to figure out codes 12 and 13 with all the reading im doing on then. but i will look into the fuel system, thanx..
