hey guys, iam getting err 13 on my cd player, i cant eject or play anything!!!!

Sorry to tell you, but Err 13 is pretty bad news. I got it on my 2005 and it meant that the changer is broken and has to be replaced. Luckily, mine was under warranty. Cost to replace without warranty is $700 at the dealer. The jamming usually is precipitated by using homemade discs that have labels that are too thick. If you think you can remove the changer and reinstall one yourself, there are several vendors on ebay that sell reconditioned changers at a far lower price than new.

no gooder if you need a cd player for your 1997. i have my pioneer from my 1995, fully working to the last time i remember.
