Default Differential Bushings Diagnostics

90 LS400 with 240K miles...what are the signs of worn differential bushings? I'm pretty sure mine are original. Will replacement eliminate the "bonking" one gets when putting it into gear? I believe there are 2 bushings front & rear? Any insight appreciated.

You need to replace the tranny mounts for the "boinking" when put in gear. I forgot how much exactly it is, but very cheap OEM part, and easy to do as well. I have the part number and receipt at home.

Thanks but no need as one of the first things i did when i purchased the car (230K miles) was to replace both motor mounts along with the tranny mount...Big difference. I also found a service bulletin that applied to the 90 LS400 (maybe other years?) that recommended changing a tranny bracket that would eliminate vibration in the 2500-3000 rpm speed....i had that vibration and purchased the bracket (60 bucks or so from Lexus) had it installed and the vibration disappeared...
