Sound when i turn the wheel... any input would be helpful
Hi all
When i turn my wheel more than half way to the left it starts to make a clunk clunk clunk sound and will continue until the wheel is put back into its original position. Dont have the problem when turning to the right.
Any ideas?

my accord's upper ball joints were old, leaking, cracked, etc. and I had to replace the whole A-arm, but the sound I was hearing from it was similar to the LS', the only difference is the LS is a much louder, heavier clunk. I'm pretty sure mine need replacement, but all things in time!

Def sound like a ball joint issue.
I second that!!!!
Ball joints, as Puredrifter said< are major parts of the suspension of your car. To answer your question, you can live with them for only a little while, but they will give out on you and in some cases, CAN cause the wheel to come off of the car.
wouldnt go cheap for such an important part of the suspension.
Can you live with it, or are my wheels going to fall off? SERIOUSLY

Update
took it to my mechanic and he has confirmed that it is a steering rack problem
he said itd cost a good amount of money but from looking and hearing it its not a big deal and i should be able to hold off for good while w/o fixing it...
If i was still working id fix it but going to school full time, its gona have to wait
