Hello all

In the process of turning my LS400 back into a Celsior, the "swap" I'm most hesitant about is the steering wheel, or at least the airbag assembly, so I have the "T" instead of the "L."

I was informed that importing an actual Celsior one from Japan could run me upwards of $500, so I'm on the quest for something cheaper...and quicker to obtain.

I was looking at Supras on eBay earlier and noticed that the steering wheel on the '97 Supra looked to be the same dimensions as the stock LS400 wheel; not to mention the levers for headlights, wipers and cruise were all in the same place it seemed. I know it wouldn't look EXACTLY the same, since the Supra airbag seems to protrude more from the center of the wheel, but I think saying I have a Supra wheel would cancel out the OEM inconsistency.

Of course I'm totally clueless when it comes to wiring stuff and the like, so I know this is the best place to ask.

So...info/thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance.

hmm, from a mkiv ehh, it SHOULD work in terms of airbag and steering column shaft....
wiring will be close hopefully, you wont know until you give it a shot...
