The story gets worse.

Insurance is totaling the car. Right now, they only want to give me $5600 (including sales tax compensation).

AND GET THIS. Today I went to the body shop where my car was sitting, and ALL MY STEREO EQUIPMENT WAS STOLEN.

That's like 2grand :( :(

I'm trying to figure this out with them, we'll see what happens.. talk about some bad luck.

DUDE, that sucks! That shop better have business insurance and compensate you for it. Me thinks it was an inside job though (90% of the cases, it usually is)

sucks their totaling it...sucks even more the body shop stole ur audio. def have them reimburse u for it since its their fault for letting someone get near ur car anyway.

Thats just ****ing stupid. Lay down some law on them. Look at it this way, if you have the reciepts you can normally get the money back as they are liable for it.

$2000 on top of 5600. 7600! Yay!

-Well I honestly think your car was worth so much more than even 7600 to begin with.
