i have searched the different forums and haven't found where the stock amp is located. From my understanding the amp is located behind the driver rear passenger seat for pioneers systems but i have the nak system and the amp isn't there. i've read that it is under the cd changer but i see something that looks like the amp on top of the changer not under. can someone please fill me in?

the amp is in teh trunk, drivers side, to the left of the fuel tank. you have to remove the trunk liner to access it. keep in mind, that amp only power the sub.

Dude I was thinking the same thing about my '91 lexus. My friend took out my sub because it was blown, and we were trying to find the amp but we couldn't. Im so glad I came across this forum. I know my sub is a pioneer, but Im not sure if only the sub is because the whole system could be nakamichi because that was the stock system for the 91 lexus, and maybe the previous owner just replaced the sub with pioneer. But im glad I know now the locations of both the pioneer amp and the nakamichi amp. Thanks!

Stock system for the LS was EITHER Pioneer OR pay extra for the upgraded Nakamichi. If you have a Pioneer sub, most likely you system is Pioneer, if the stereo is still stock.
