watch my 1996 LS400 EXPLODE! W/VIDEO and PICS
Guys!!!
So, I'm parked in front of the gym the other day for my morning workout... and a truck plowed in to my car, destroyed about 6 other cars, and eventually blew up. Those of you in the Boston Area probably heard about this already, it was "the big news" story of yesterday.
Anyways, here's some video (not taken by me) of my car blowing up, and some pictures (taken by me) of the aftermath.... insane!!!
Good thing my new GS is coming soon.... :-)

uhhh... because I'm ALIVE?!?!?!
This was absolutely insane/intense... I'm actually in that video (after my car explodes, they're zooming in on that white car... I'm on the left, on my cellphone, in the black workout pants + tee shirt).
I mean... it could have been a matter of minutes before I was in the car when that happened!
And... I'm not happy about it. Obviously I would have rather it not happen... but it did happen, nothing can be done about it -- so why not appreciate it for the awesome car explosion that it was?! :-)
The real tragedy was all my golf stuff was in the trunk.... :-(

It was crazy, Gman.
Yeah, I mean... my car was parked at a meter, but I saw the truck fly by, and then heard the crash and saw a car get tossed on to the sidewalk... and I pretty much knew that my car was toast.
I ran out and checked it out... low and behold, there was a pillar of fire!! :-)

Damn thats even crazier than the chimney falling on my car incident.
Glad you are OK! In the pictures, it kind of looks like your LS400 was in the middle of transforming into an autobot haha.

That is crazy and talk about timing like you said - could have been the end. As Pure said, LS460 with all the Tom's accessories could be in line once you settle with the insurance company. It destroyed your car - unbelievable.
