Default Some wheel help for a new owner?

Hi guys,
I just bought a '92 LS400, which I'll be picking up in a couple of weeks. I've literally spent the entire day today trying to figure out what wheels will fit properly on this car. Can somebody please provide me with the stock wheel and tire specs on my car? I can't seem to find them anywhere!!!

Also, is there a definitive list anywhere as to what other OEM wheels will fit this car (ie 17" Infiiniti G35 wheels, etc.)?

Thanks! I'll post some pics when my car arrives.

Jeff

any wheels that are 5x114.3 PCD and +35-45 offset (since they're oem wheels) will fit. no super wide/big wheels obviously (22x12 for example)

it all depends on what kind of look you want as to what fits "properly". some guys think 22's fit properly!
18" or 19" seem to fit the best, in terms of diameter and aesthetics. you can run a 9" wide up front a 10" in the rear with the proper offsets.
i won't say what offsets since i don't knwo what look you want yet...

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the replies. I'm leaning towards 17's at this point. I just want something that looks more modern than the stock 15" chromies that are coming with my car. I'd like them to sit about flush with the fenders. I also like the price of 17" tires much better than 18's, 19's, or 20's! This car is going to be my daily driver and for road trips, so I want a taller sidewall for cruising comfort.

I'll definitely post pics when I bring my new rig home.

Neofate- the 90-92 wheels were 15" I believe, and the LS got bigger brakes and 16" wheels in '93+

iirc, the 93-94 share the same wheel tire sizes as the 95-00.
16in with a 225/60/16 tire.... not 205/65/16

if you doubt check with tirerack

My point was the rim was 16 not 15 stock -- You might be right on tire size.. I'll check and get back. Either way they aren't very big

to clear up any confusion, 89-92 were on 15", 93-00 were on 16"
