Default Putting a 91 Lexus back on the road

Hey guys, new to 1uz and Lexus. Me and my buddy got a 91 ls400 for 400$.

The car is rough, and has been played with alot. But with some proper attention I'd like to get it back running right. One owner had jumped a relay under the hood, burnt up some wires, next owner ran a switch from the battery to the fuel pump.

The car runs, but is low on power and runs rich. So, I wanna get this ignition and fuel system working properly, not a hot wired pump.

I think I should start with addressing the Black with White Stripe wire under the fuse panel in the engine bay. It had gotten so hot at some point, that it melted the insulation.

Below are some photos and videos of the car. The fuel pump hot wiring that has been done, and the fuse panel.

If I can get some 1uz heads to help me out I'd be appreciative! If anyone has any wiring diagrams or a service and repair manual It'd be of great help aswell. Thanks!

Now that's a restoration project if I've ever seen one. For the burnt wire when that happens it tends to burn wires touching it only way to fix is strip the harness down or replace it. After that's fixed next step is undo all the "fixes" by the previous owner.

Thanks for the reply. I suppose I'll strip the harness down and see what damage that wire may have caused. I'll try to put things together as they should be and troubleshoot the systems from there.

There's a 92' in a scrapyard around the corner that i can rob some parts from.
