New guy here from San Antonio checking in..I just picked up a 1996 ls for $1200 in good condition. 213k on the body 120k on the motor. I just replaced the brake master and will need to replace the drivers door lock actuator. Timing belt and water pump in the near future.

Legender,

Thanks for your comment. It is indeed the best car for long distance cruising. An absolute cream puff!

Saw your signature... my first car was a brand new 92' Miata!

After not having an LS400 for a few years (I owned 2 91's and an '01 LS430 in my lifetime) I just bought a 94 black on black with 35k original miles for $6000. Located in Hawaii and extremely happy with the purchase! Car has universal air on Megan coilovers. This should be my final project lol.

'93 with 378,030 really good condition inside and out. Paid $800. Put in a remanufactured ecu and purred like a kitten. Good tires and very minimal rust. The transmission went out on me a couple months ago because someone put too much trans fluid in it. A few oil leaks but a very strong car. Wish I could figure out how to post pics.

Picked up a 98' LS w/ 170k miles for $3,500.00. ORIGINAL owner! 78yr old woman! ALL service records from Lexus (14 Pages) back and front. Spoke with one of their service advisors and he indicated to me that she had it there every 2-2,500 miles for oil changes. Garage kept too! Drives like a dream. Near mint condition. Love it

Talking Xena the Warrior Lexus

*Edit ^^Not this one, but same color!!^^
1993 LS400 white/grey
155,057mi
$2500 advertised, $1800 Paid
~Exterior 7.5/10 (top of bumpers paint, non working antenna, slight RR fender damage, SC 16in chrome wheels flaking)
~Interior 8.75/10 (fresh leather in black and cream! Raver instruments...couple little issues with plastics but really nice over all, nice dash!, all power stuff works, climate control display dead and not backlit, shifter loose side to side)
~Chassis 5/10 (sloppy boat...brakes, suspension, bushings...you name it...only reason I gave it a 5 was; I love this whip, and it still drives alright gotta put in work!)
~Engine/Drivetrain/Under the hood 9/10 (smooth and powerful, exhaust leak?/EGR?/not sure where...still quiet...hopefully not burning oil, shifts nice, drivetrain feels tight over all, dirty, more dirty underneath, power steering leak)

Oh, and not great tires...I love it and am happy to have it...but I wish I paid less...Oh well, it's a classic! Lexxxus!!!! But it might be a money pit...hopeful that I can fix her up nice DIY, then get in to modding! I will post some pics soon, WE OUT HERE!

Just bought a 2000 LS400, silver with gray interior. 33,000 original miles with the only flaw being a tiny dent in the C pillar from a rake handle. Everything works and the whole car is like new. The owner was asking $12,500 and I ended up paying $12,000. Love the car.

Picked my 92 LS400 up back in January...$1500...could have talked him down definitely but I was just too happy. Had 126,000 miles on it. Needed body work, knock sensor (replaced both). Got a tune up. Cleaned the body up, got a paint job. Has a slow leak in the PS pump and caused me to have to have the alternator rebuilt. Just got my 20's today. Feeling really good about my little project. Interior and a couple chrome accents and an upgrade to my suspension and I should be set.
