Looks like am back.....Just got this 93 LS400 for $1100cad.....
looks like am back again to the ls400 forums.
i should be picking it up tonight.
Owner had it for 11 yrs. was driven by his wife. and has all service records.
He got into a very minor. insurance wrote it off but he bought it back.
Interior is black and its in immaculate condition.Car drives like its brand new even with the accident and it has 150,000 miles. so smooth and quiet.
got it for $1100cad. came with 2 sets of rims and tires. 4 keys. all service records. should be getting a "next to nothing" paintjob from an "uncle" of mine i am painting it all black to match the interior.
only damage is that shown in picture.

IF THERE IS A GOD, NOW I KNOW HE LOVES ME ..........
i just got back from bringing the car home and oh my God. i am very lucky.
pictures do not do it justice.no engine noise whatsoever, even while driving.
i have owned a 92ls400 and a 98gs300 and this drives smoother than both.
this car drives like brand NEW...
-the guy already fixed the infamous climate control.
-had 4 OEM remote keys to give me
-leather lexus owners manual.
-also, he had a set of tints for the windows which were already cut but not installed and he gave it to me.
-The black leather interior is literally a 9.9/10(no jokes)
-All records given to me with 90% done at Lexus and 10% at Toyota.
even the paint job. oh my God. besides the little rust near the bumper and the actual pint where the pole hit the car, it is a 99%/100%.
All this for $1100 cad.
the guy even had it e-tested already.
everything works a 100%
Now this is a steal...

hey
the accident is the one shown above.
it only rusted cos it was in the open.,(kind of like an open wound).
i can't get over this car. the way it drives and sounds.......
hopefully i can get the damage fixed and roll out.
i should take pics of the interior. its hard to explain. i don't think i saw one single crack. and its a 93. plus now i understand why most people love black interior; its nice.
but am always on craigslist, autotrader, google trying to find a good deal. literally, everyday.

From your description it does indeed sound like a big steal. Also if you have a way to get the body work/paint done for a few hundred then you are in business.
Congrats. It looks like it is in the condition mine is in I just bought for $4500.00 USD .. lol. Makes me jealous, but not really. I still think I got a good deal. I mean these cars were 50+ grand new (depending on year).. We can't expect to get them for NOTHING.. although you almost did.
Congrats, and you could justifiably put 3 grand into the body/paint etc details and the car would still be at a good overall investment with a new paintjob/staight body..
Do let us see pics of it fixed up.
