My steering wheel has the auto tilt feature. The other day I disconnected the battery to fix something else and the wheel went up to the highest level and telescoped outwards all the way. Now, it wont tilt back down. Also, my memory buttons on the door have never worked. Could these be related?

I am thinking maybe the steering column ECU has went bad. If anybody knows anything about this or how to replace the ECU, PLEASE let me know.

 

check the fuses first.
