Default New Member Intro

Hello All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Eddie and I'm new to Lexus ownership, but not forums. I'm also member of a Miata, Harley V-Rod and FJ Cruiser forums. I sold the FJ in October when I realized I have a great off road vehicle, but that I'd seldom use it.

I purchased a '98 LS 400 with 81,000 miles in November. Needed tires and hood struts, plus it has a slight vibration at 45MPH (I'm thinking tranny mount or tire balancing), but I love this car and am looking forward to participating in this forum.

Eddie

Welcome to the forum! For your vibration I would start by looking at tire balancing... thats the usual culprit and the cheapest to fix..

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

I had the tranny mount replaced today and that corrected the vibration. Amazing such a simple thing can correct so much.

Next is ceramic tint, but darn that is expensive.

Man, I love this car.
