My car is ready
After getting an estimate from a lexus dealership for over 2000.00$ to do rear suspension work, I took my car to mechanic who used to work at Lexus(8 years),He now has his own shop, and he simply replaced the bushings without having to replace the whole arm and top plate and ball joints and and and... as Lexus had suggested.
He also replaced the power steering hose and front break pads(he also did away with the one time sensor for the brake pads- a useless expense if you check your brake pads at every oil change)
He did all of this plus changed the oil and sealed an exhuast leak for under 700.00$.
The car runs as smoothly as its reputation. It's a serene pleasure drive.
Thanks to all of you who took the time to write with advice and suggestions.
My next question is , what are the best tires for my 95 ls 400? I am a conservative driver( I n
ever exceed 70 mph or 140 km/h) and want quiet reliable tires that perform well in the rain. Any suggestions?
