Default Took a drive, 27.7 mpg.

I havent take the car for a nice drive since i fixed the strut bars and timing belt/water pump.
So too it out today to stretch some legs.
Wow, all of the minor vibrations are all gone, thanks to strut bars. 120mpg feels like 60 mph. I feel that nes sway bar bushings would help a bit to stabilize the front end a bit more.
I got 30MPG at some point, this is after I refilled the car with 93 Sunoco and drove it for about 15 minutes, resetting the computer from the stop.
At the end of the day and 150 mile drive I ended up with 27.7 mpg.
Im happy.

Funny part is, I did this drive with my friend on saturday, and today I took my parents out for some fresh air, same route, same drive in my dads 2004 Lincoln Town Car L, which i love, but man what a boat, very solid feel, heavy as ****, but the best I got was 20.2MPG in that car. Great car, but way underpowered and the Body on frame lets you know about it evrytime go over a series of bumps and the vibrations go throught the frame.

thats great and all but you want the TANK average, not the randomly resettable average thats really easy to spoof.

That area in the picture looks like Bear Mountain up in Westchester County. Is it?

And the fuel economy was the best i got on tge highway.
Overall 27.7 at the end of the day, those whole know palisades pkway, know that its mostly hills and turns, so the computer was not reset on the downhill going 20.

Average for tank is better and with roads like the one's in your pic it would be easy to gobble up 500 miles for a tank - nice pics

I took a 350 mile trip once and got 31.1 from the "tank average" in my 99 LS400. I did the math from how much gas it used and I actually came out with 33 mpg. I almost never went over 75 and usually it was between 65-70. I've noticed there is a big drop once you hit 78+.
