Any way to increase treble? 98 w/NAK
In my 95 I had the treble **** at the 3/4 mark.. in my 98, it's full and still not enough.
Is there something I'm missing? I know the second gen GS has a hidden menu in the stereo.. same for LS?
98 with Nakamichi
Thanks

This surprised me so I looked up some old threads. See this one for a similar complaint and some useful comments. I'd be happy to trade my Pioneer system for your Nakamichi! Or at least I think I would, having never actually heard one.

Haven't heard about any hidden stereo menu for the 2nd gen LS.

There is a hidden menu for the 2nd gen LS, but it doesn't work on the NAK's.
I noticed the NAK systems are more "bassy", and less treble. They are louder, and pump more bass, but seem to lack clarity of the pioneer. I guess its a trade off one makes.

The Nak in my 00 LS is infinitely more impressive than was the standard Pioneer in my old 90 LS. The clarity of the Nak's base is incredible and there is never distortion. I can feel the base through the seat cushion and the steering wheel -- and I'm talking about bassoon parts in orchestral music - not loud rock music.
