Did something alittle crazy yesterday...
So I got these jdm mufflers the other day, quad tips. So I head into my buddy's muffler shop and next thing i know hes chopped off my stock exhaust south of the cats!! 
after he made me some nice straight pipes and welded them i dared to fire it up and DAMN! all i can say is I knew this beast was hiding somewhere in there. its loud, not as loud as some camaros and stangs ive heard but its also different, the 1uz has its own exhaust note for sure. nice hp gains too, its very noticeable especially on the highway. pics tomorrow.

My LS sounds like ***, and it's cut off right after the cats. The 1UZ has a decent roar, but it's still nothing great since I'm used to hearing LT1's and 5.0's purring.
My car will sound awesome next week though once I get everything fitted with my new catback and mufflers.

pure, sorry bud im not sure what your talking about? ever since i saw vince's car (pagong) ive lusted after this exhaust and its taken me nearly a year to locate a set. you must have me mixed up with somebody else my emblems are stock, i would love to see your setup though.

pfantom yes the ls sounds like crap when you run it straight from the cats, but with mufflers it makes a dramatic difference, it gives it a meaty growl as opposed to that weird chirpy noise. then again ive never had the pleasure of sitting in a maro or stang with a nice exhaust so i dont have much to compare too.
ill post pics when i get home tonight, i cant stop thinking about how much im going to love my drive home from work, this is the first time ive ever turned off my sound system... ever
