Default Two unrelated questions on a Gen II...

Car -- 1997 LS 400, 1997 (Gen II) with 94 k miles.

Questions:

1. Can the existing OEM front speaker grilles be replaced with new OEM ones? Someone must have cleaned them at one time and stained them; they look rather unsightly. If so, would anyone have part numbers for such? Does the inner door panel have to be removed to do this if they are available? Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

2. What are the best low beam light bulbs that are brightest and not blinding to oncoming drivers? I currently have Sylvanias' but I feel that there must be something better out there.

Many thanks for your help.

I don't know about your first question; so far as headlights go, I upgraded to Sylvania's Silverstar bulbs and couldn't be happier unless I were driving with HIDs. The pattern is clearer and more defined, the light brighter and whiter. Its a world of difference.

yes you can change out the oem ones for newer looking model grills you just take off the whole door panel and there are about 4 screws that hold in the original grill

I tried car-part.com and the list of automobiles that I was to choose among did not show Lexus as a choice. Any other thoughts?
