92 LS.... I dropped a wrench down in behind the battery, and I was gonna take it out to remove the wrech later. got it all back together.... now the car wont start without a jump AND when it does run... NOTHING else works, no lights, no dash, my a/c, no cd player.. nothin.

Whats the deal!?!?

ok guys.... now I really feel STUPID.

In the "heat" of the moment, I accidently reversed the + and - cables. It's raining outside and I quickly threw it together, thinking I knew which was the correct way. Turns out the SOB is backwards, hence my problem.

I hope there is a "quick fix" for this....but I know it will be difficult.

Help anyone?

eh, kinda. I replaced the 120A circuit breaker.... now it starts up and runs...idles very low, interior lights dont work, airbag light is on, cd player doesnt work (aftermarket, if probaly the fuse in the back, I hope).

Also, the steering wheel doesnt adjust... do you have a fix for that?

oh geez.. Sounds like you fried a LOT of fuses.

Check both fuseable links as well as fuse kick panels.

Yeah I really did.... probably 6 fuses, and two circuit breakers. and it killed my battery...

I got it all workin now... it just runs alittle rough and airbag light is on...

check your alternator fuse. The same thing happened a few weeks ago when I changed my battery terminals.

Hopefully you won't have to do that wire dance to take the airbag light off...

Search up for the procedure to get rid of the airbag light. I think its on lexls.com.

It wont go away until you reset it. (everythign else is fine though) Happens a lot when you replace the battery.

I noticed when I started my car that I smelled something weird...

I hope its just the coolant I spilled burning off.....
