made me happy to see he could't stop driving it around and stepping on it! i did get slightly triggered at his assessment of the gas mileage which really isn't THAT bad... if scotty's idea of 'babying it' means going under 90 mph then yes you do have to baby it to get 23 mpg on the highway

there's pretty limited content on the 1998-2000 in that regard :(

by that point toyota must've felt lexus was already established enough to not need such a continued level of marketing lol

A Century front end swap. His previous was a teaser of the front end unboxing.

I mean I saw 25mpg with 3 people & a bunch of stuff in the car going into a headwind in Wyoming @90mph. More typical conditions usually yield 27mpg.

And I was running pretty grippy winter tires on that trip which surely cost fuel vs. some eco hard all-season tire.

All you need to know about Toyota and Lexus Parts. How to find deals?

I've taken online parts prices and have negotiated the same price locally. Just to note that many of the dealers will match the price after shipping. So if a part is $185 and ships for $15 I'll be paying $200.XX give take with local taxes.
