so here is the deal.
my water pump was leaking so my engine kept over-heating i took to a few mechanics they said ok the problem was the water pump...which i pretty much already knew but everyone wanted to charge me about $1,000
and at the time i didnt have cash like that laying around so instead i was just refilling anti-freeze everyday about half a bottle a day
two weeks pass and no more leaking lol...
so i take it back to a different shop and they say their is nothing wrong with it... im thinking to myself it cant be possible.
i take to the old shop and the guys said ive had to have fixed it or their was no problem...and i know im not crazy lol....
now has ne body had a problem like this one? lol
im telling beleive in these japenese people who make these cars theyhave powers lol...

Happened to me on my old Honda, the water pump started leaking, leaked for a few days, and then stopped, and didn't leak for 6 months... then started to leak again, and overheated badly, causing blown headgasket.

It is a weeping hole which is made to leak because the bearing is worn out.
It does not cost $1000 to get the work done even with parts.
Fix it or don't drive it you don't want that going and overheating or leaving chunks inside your engine.

Well I spent about $1300 on parts on labor doing...
1. Timing belt & wateropump
2. valve cover seals and front engine seals
3. cranshaft sensor
4. camshaft sensor
5. oxygen sensors
6. ignition coil
and some other misc. stuff. Just to give you a ball park.

I agree also that it is just the early symptoms of a pump going bad. Fix ASAP or dont drive it too much. Your call.
