Question "Greetings, everyone!" :)

Hello, everyone! I am a proud owner of a 1995 Lexus LS400. I have 125,000 original miles and now I have a problem. I am hearing a clicking sound under the hood. We looked under the chassis and discovered that there is a leak of some sort. The liquid is red and it seems to be leaking from possibly an oblong pan?!? Does anyone happen to know what I am talking about and if so...Can you please tell me what's leaking (like a transmission pan or something)!?! Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Kimberly

P.S.
I believe I have the clicking sound confirmed under my hood. I'm more than sure that it is my steering pump.

Clicking sound can be a number of things. When does the sound occur and is it constant? Red fluid can suggest either power steering pump leak(common problem) or transmission(low fluid will be felt when car shifts and is generally not noisy). Another common prob is a defective fan clutch. If noise is constant, suspect defective fan clutch along with Power steering leak.
Resolve to the power steering leak is that you need something called an idle air control valve, and maybe the high pressure steering hoses to replace while you are messing with the pump. The 1UZ engines in the LS series are notorious for having a valve tap. Least expensive case is that you may need to have the valves adjusted.
