Default Cabin Fliter for Gen 2 and Gen 2.5

THere is now a replacement cabin filter available for these cars at a respectable price of $13.50 versus the $45 from the stealership. It is the Purolator filter C35426. Fits great. Air smells great.

Is it made to fit the car or does it just measure really close?

Is it charcoal-impregnated? The OEM one is, or at least appears to be.

It is made for the car. It is a perfect fit.

It is not charcoal impregnated. My factory one sold by the dealership is not either. This filter is statically charged to catch more dust.

I have used a retro fit one before as well, but this is straight out of the box, without fuss.

I just bought one the other day that appears to be impregnated with charcoal, so your filter may be a different part from mine.
