Default Clear or Diamond?? (side markers)

I want to swap out my front indicators but not sure whether to go clear or diamond? What are peoples opinions and does anyone have pics? Thanks!

I think it depends on the car and the style.

Personally, I don't like seeing the bulb which is why I like the "diamond" better.

werd... seeing the bulb looks tacky imo. the clear but factory "texture" ones look much better and they match the corner lights and headlights better anyway...

I agree too, seeing the coloured bulbs looks a bit tacky. So diamond markers with coated bulbs??

If the headlights are the clear type 98+ LS400 & LS430 the clear ones would match. If the headlights aren't clear, 90-97 LS400, the factory style match...
My opinion.

I have diamond with amber bulbs an like them fine. I am switching to clear with silver coated amber bulbs (Sylvania I believe). I am only switching because one of my diamonds got hit by a rock on the highway. I like them both about the same. I should have my clear markers by the end of the week and can PM you a side by side comparison if you like Ewan.

the main hangup i have with the euro "crystal" where you can see inside the whole housing is the illumination.... since there is no real "diffuser" like on the factory style bulbs usually the lighting is uneven.

of course i've not seen the specific ones in question in person, but from what i've most of the aftermarket "euro/diamond/crystal" are designed the same.

That would be awesome Steveski. I will have quite a bit of chrome on my car, I just ordered a chrome kit thing for my grill, it still has all the original chrome trims and I just got new wheels, so I think that the diamond ones would suit. Just wanted to see what everyones opinions where on them. I will post pics when I eventually get them. Just spent a small fortune on rims and tix home to Australia so it may be awhile, haha!
