Sorry to hear about this Capt... same thing happened to me about five years ago with my GS https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-2nd-gen-1998-2005/54477-i-can-t-keep-my-lips-shut.html but I had an aftermarket lip that gave a little (cracked loose) which I think helped minimize the damage some.
