Default NEED HELP...please!

Hi fellas.... I have a problem with my ls starting, after i finished painting my car... When i go to start it, it stays running with a little shake, also when pressing on the gas... Now when im out driving at normal speed, it seems fine, but when i step on the gas, it gives alittle shake like not getting fuel, sounds like a putt putt, if you know what i mean... So there is the problem from beginnig to end, but remember it feels putty when i accelerate, but at speed with the foot on the pedal its fine, but worst if i go to speed up.. Keep in mind it does it too at start up.... Im thinking spark plugs, but who knows... Any help will be appreciated.....

1. Check your air filter - it may be clogged from all the dust
2. Check spark plug wells for water - they may have washed the engine and water always gets in there. It causes whole bunch of lights to come on though, so may not be it, but still wouldn't hurt.

thanks guys, i will check it out, i know the engine wasn't washed, because i help the guy work on the prep and paint.... I think it could be the clogging of the intake, but i will see..... If not then, im thinking new spark plugs
