Default Is there RCA out in Nakamichi headunit?

For: 1993 LS

I have all the wires to have my amp&sub installed but do not have the RCA cables.

Is there an RCA out in the stock Nakamichi head unit? Or will I have to buy a speaker-level to RCA Line Output Converter?

No RCA's. You need a high to low RCA converter.

I purchased a used
Nakamichi head unit for my 93 LS400, and there no RCA cables needed to
plug it in. I simply disconnected the Pioneeer unit and plugged in the
Nak., and it worked fine. Now, if you plan to hook up amps and subs, that
might require something else. I had an amp and sub in my car, but the
extra wiring did NOT involve any extra wiring from the radio. It was all
done in the truck with a power cable strung through the car to the battery.
The original Pioneer unit worked fine with these modificaions, and when I
decided to switch to the Nakamichi unit, it was a simple snap in and it worked fine too.

I did not have to do anything with RCA cables when I hooked up an amp and
heavier subwoofer to my Pioneer head unit, and when I later switched to a
Nakamichi head unit, all I had to do was plug in the same wiring connect-
ers. I didn't need any converters unless they were a part of the upgrade
when the amp and Punch woofer were installed.

RCA cables go from the head unit to the amplifier to provide signals. If there are no RCA out in the head unit you have to use the wires going to your stock subwoofer and convert them to RCA out using a converter like mentioned above.
You probably had a converter installed or had an amplifier with speaker level input that used the cables from the stock subwoofer.
