1996 LS 400 price check

Fellows....

I have a chance to buy 1996 LS 400 with 150K+ miles on it. Well taken care of it, and original owner. They are willing to let go for $5500. Should I jump on it?

Sounds like a good deal. Do they have any maint. records, including Timing belt/water pump, oil changes, etc.?

Have a mechanic check it out first!!!!! Price is fine !!!!! Make sure it is State Inspected!!!!

Timing belt and water pump was changed at 90K so, I am going due again in another 30K miles.

Agreed with everybody here. Probably the best thing is take to the dealer for an inspection, should run $100-150.

very good price for maintained Lex from original owners with records. They go for 6-7K+ at least...
