I have rattle in my 1995 LS400. I still have the "rattle" that sounds like it is coming from under the hood up high behind the dash. Every time I drive over a bump I get a rattle noise. I have replaced the rack and pinion, struts and mounts, strut arms and bushings, ball joints, tightened the brake calipers, sway bar links, the rear transmission mount and put a wrench on everything I can get to. The car drives wonderful but when I hit a bump I get a rattle?? I have applied the brakes when I get this noise and that does not stop it. I am getting to the point of not knowing what else to do other than pulling the engine. I am very **** about rattles and would very much like to get this fixed.

Hmm,, seems like you addressed most of the common solutions,, engine mounts maybe??

I Have The Same Rattle That Sound Like It Coimg From Behind The Dashboard On The Left Hand Side Behind The Insturment Clustor On The Left Most Dash Vent .

Wonder What It Could Be Just Sounds Like Something Loose I Hear It A Lot Just Cruseing Down The Road
