Hmmm $14,700...

1994 Acura Legend GS with all service records, 93K miles
VS
1998 Lexus LS400 with navigation, also in great shape...

I'd choose a 98 LS decked out over the Acura for that price any day! Thats a rediculous price for any Acura, with the exception of the NSX, for almost 15,000!!

I think I know that guy. Good dude, nice car I just couldnt pay that type of a price for a 13 year old Ack. It's a wonderful car but I'm just not that enthusiastic about legends. Hell some prices for the 95 LS's are strange to me.

He'll never get that price, but that car's worth 9k all day long, or more to the right person. (like me) Black/Black GS 6M in good shape? There's probably not another one like it for sale anywhere.

if you like a sportier feel...keep the legend... if you like a more comfortable ride...go buy an LS!

15k *is* a lot for a GS legend, but the rarity factor will make it worth more obviously to a collecter; probably sell over 10k. A 94-95 legend GS 6-speed is very very scarce compared to any LS400.

A black on black GS 6M is nearly impossible to find, let alone one with relatively low miles and well maintained.

I was thinking of selling my Legend for a newer LS400. I took 8 low milage 1988 cars for a test drive in the last two weeks. Great car, no doubt about it, but I decided to keep the Legend ...... they are nice too ! ( especially mine !)

I will get an LS400 or LS430 in a few years, but right now I think I have the nicest Legend in Canada !

Bump for an old thread ....

There are no nice LS400s that have low miles, so I am test driving the LS430 now ....
It will take a very nice one to get me out of my Legend, but I am going to try.

Here is my car in the fall ....

Nice Legend. Have owned 4 or 5 of them. I would say the ls430 is a nice step up from the Legend.

I usually dont like FF cars, but those longitudinally mounted engine FFs didnt bother me at all.
I suggest you keep your beautiful car, the styling is timeless !!

This is a 3+ years old thread, but I just wanted to say that the second gen legend is a absolutely stunning car the design is timeless. As a kid I literally drool over that car and wanted one so badly which never happen.

I was so looking forward to find a decent Legend last summer as a daily driver before I got my hands on the LS... I test drove a 94 but wasn't too impressed as the owner did a crappy job in maintaining the car.

IMO the dumbest thing Honda could have ever done was to replaced the Legend more so the coupe with the CL talk about going from day to night right there.

Long Live the Legend to this day i still check out the legend forum.
